I started my healthier eating habits in July, 2023, and walking laps at the gym around that time. The real effort of getting into shape began in September, 2023. I’ve lost 33 lbs total since July, and have gone from 44% body fat in September, to 19%, as of February, 2024. I eat healthier and maintain a calorie deficit, and am in the gym 4-5 times a week. Seeing my results has been a big motivator for me to continue my new healthy lifestyle. The support and personal attention from the Fitzone Coaches and gym staff have kept me encouraged and moving forward. I also enjoy the camaraderie from other gym members in class. In July, I was 213 lbs and because of my weight gain, had developed arthritis in my right knee. It was severe enough that I couldn’t walk without limping and had to go sideways on staircases....

Meet Hailey!.. The past year is when I really started to take weight training, dieting, and an active lifestyle seriously. I’ve taken Body Pump, Boot Camp, FitZone, and even tried Cycling! I love all the classes offered at our gym but love the friendships I’ve made with other gym members and coaches more. We keep each other accountable, have fun, and push ourselves to be the strongest versions of ourselves. I’m so excited to knock two of my goals, a tough mudder and marathon out of my bucket list this summer. The gym motivates me to grow mentally and physically stronger.

Meet Anna!.. MOTIVATION: I love the gym. It’s where I spend time doing what I enjoy. I’m motivated by knowing I’m stronger than I’ve ever been, and I’m doing things I never thought I would be able to do. Like pull-ups for example, not only can I actually do them now, but I can also do some weighted ones which is a huge accomplishment for me! When I’m doing deadlifts or squats, I’m so focused on what I’m doing that it clears my mind of everything else going on in my life. It’s a mental break for me, and I never leave the gym thinking, “I shouldn’t have spent time doing that.” I’ve always been pretty active but it wasn’t until I joined 24/7 where I really started to train consistently. Meet Tara!.. When did your journey begin? December 31st, 2021, was my first day going to the gym. And I have gone 3-5x/week since then, other than sick days! What motivates you to workout? The natural high that exercise gives me motivates me to work out. How I’ve seen my body transform from lifting weights and being more active, motivates me. The fact that working out makes every aspect of my life better and easier, is what motivates me to work out. Goals Accomplished!… Being able to join and continue FitZone is a huge accomplishment for me; When I first started working out I thought there was NO WAY I could EVER participate in those classes. When I first started working out, I couldn’t even get my feet in and out of the rower on my own -Steve had to help me every time and I didn’t start rowing independently...
