I worked with Fernando Nunez to set up a diet/workout plan and told myself that no matter what, I was going to adhere to it. It was very hard, and I wanted to quit the whole thing several times. But each time I just told myself to make it through that day; then worry about tomorrow. Once I had completed 3 weeks on the plan it was still hard, but it was doable.
During this time I also began asking people I trusted about diet and nutrition. Fast forward one year and I’m now 185lbs, 15% body fat and I feel incredible!
My biggest piece of advice would be to find a goal that pushes what you think you can achieve. Make a plan to get to that goal, paying close attention to sustainability. Then hold fast to your plan, not giving an inch. You’re capable of far more than you think. It just takes a little work!
