Member Spotlight: Spring 2025 – Meet Veronica

For several years now, I get on the wagon and then fall off. I finally decided to get my head in the game after a long time of yo-yo gym time at the beginning of August 2024.

My biggest accomplishments have been: increased self-esteem, reduced stress, and improved energy levels . I have now created a lifestyle that fits me. I have pushed through setbacks, stressors and periods of low motivation because I want to be that consistent positive person for those around me, myself included.

What is your motivation? My Nieces and Nephew. I want to be a positive influence on them and keep up with their energy. But I also do it for myself. I want to be a better person, both mentally and physically. I enjoy the instant satisfaction that I get from it that causes me to feel better in general after exercising, but I also continue to do it because of the long-term health benefits. I have also found a home in the gym community and love the extra motivation from everyone around me at Harrisonburg/Bridgewater 24/7 Fitness. This in turn keeps me motivated to keep coming back, even on hard days.

My aspiration is to serve as an inspiration to others, encouraging them to adopt healthier lifestyles!
